History

In 1988, NOVOTEC emerged as a trading house for EDM supplies from Techno Tools,
specialists in graphite machining. We quickly realized that our customers expected more
expertise and know-how from us than simple trade and commerce would allow.
To better respond to the needs of our customers, we have included the design and
manufacture of our own products whenever possible.

To be able to act with competence and personal service, local partnerships were set up
strategically across Europe, Asia and the United States. In parallel with our sales efforts,
in-house product engineering, fabrication and quality assurance divisions for wear parts
were also incorporated. In 1999 we successfully introduced an EDM-drill that is designed
to comply with our philosophies of quality and performance. With the addition of EDM wire
fabrication in 2000, we are able to service and support an even larger number of
private-label-customers.

In keeping with our philosophies of quality and competence, we will continue to be
responsive in expanding our in-house fabrication lines and to customer service through
our local distribution partners.
